What’s New: 2027 Chrysler Pacifica

The minivan segment continues to evolve, and the refreshed 2027 Chrysler Pacifica is proof that the category still has plenty of innovation left. As the latest update to America’s best-selling minivan, the 2027 model introduces a refreshed design, expanded technology choices, upgraded safety features, and a new entry-level trim designed to make the Pacifica lineup more accessible to families. With ordering now open and dealership arrivals expected this summer, the updated Pacifica aims to blend style, versatility, and family-focused technology in ways that keep it at the forefront of the minivan market.

A Sharper, More Modern Exterior

For 2027, the Pacifica receives a noticeable visual refresh. Select, Limited, and Pinnacle trims feature a redesigned front fascia highlighted by new vertical LED projector headlamps and an illuminated grille with a distinctive “piano keys” lighting signature. The updated design gives the Pacifica a more modern and upscale presence compared to previous models. The refresh also introduces a new Chrysler wing badge and a revised rear liftgate applique that reinforces the brand’s updated styling language. Buyers will also have more opportunities for personalization thanks to new wheel designs and additional exterior paint colors across the lineup. Meanwhile, the new LX trim—essentially the successor to the Voyager—retains its familiar exterior look while serving as a more budget-friendly entry point to the Pacifica family.

A More Premium Interior Experience

Inside, the Pacifica continues to offer seating for seven or eight passengers while improving overall interior refinement. Subtle design changes include new accent finishes throughout the cabin and a Satin Chrome Chrysler wing badge embedded in the steering wheel’s airbag cover. The top-tier Pinnacle trim receives the most noticeable upgrades. For 2027, it introduces an exclusive Blue Agave Nappa leather interior, giving the cabin a distinctive and upscale appearance. Copper Alloy accent bezels add warmth to the design, while the instrument panel receives new Dark Platinum trim. Seat materials also receive attention, with a new “Parquet” perforation pattern and Tungsten Patina piping that enhance the premium look and feel of the Pacifica’s flagship model.

New Safety Technology and Smarter Driver Assistance

Safety remains a key focus for the Pacifica, and the 2027 model introduces upgrades to its Safety Sphere Package. New driver-assistance features include Turn Signal-activated Blind Spot View, which displays a camera view of adjacent lanes when signaling. Another addition is ParkSense-based Camera Activation, designed to improve visibility when maneuvering in tight spaces. These new features complement existing technology such as the 360-degree Surround View camera system and Front Park Assist with Stop. Together, these systems aim to give drivers greater awareness and confidence during everyday driving and parking.

Flexible Technology for Families

Technology inside the Pacifica becomes more customizable for 2027. The Uconnect Theater Package and the newly named Family Tech Group are now offered separately, allowing buyers to choose the features that matter most to their family. Depending on configuration, families can opt for features such as Amazon Fire TV integration, the FamCAM interior monitoring camera, premium audio systems, extra power outlets, and enhanced second- and third-row amenities. This new approach gives buyers more flexibility instead of bundling all technology features into one package.

Convenience Improvements Across the Lineup

One of the most practical upgrades for 2027 is a new adjustable-height power liftgate, now standard across all trims. This feature allows drivers to set the maximum opening height, making it easier to use the liftgate in garages with low ceilings or other tight spaces. It’s a small change that can make a big difference for families who frequently load cargo, groceries, or sports equipment.

The Versatility Families Expect

Despite the updates, the Pacifica retains one of its most important innovations: the segment-exclusive Stow ’n Go seating and storage system. This feature allows both the second- and third-row seats to fold completely into the floor, instantly creating a flat cargo area without needing to remove seats. That flexibility continues to be a defining advantage for the Pacifica, making it easy to switch between passenger hauling and cargo duty for road trips, errands, or weekend projects.

A New Entry Point: Pacifica LX

For 2027, Chrysler introduces the Pacifica LX as the new base trim. Replacing the Voyager, the LX offers a more affordable starting point while still including desirable features like power sliding doors, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. This trim gives families access to the Pacifica’s practicality and versatility at a lower price point without sacrificing everyday comfort.

Pricing and Availability

The 2027 Pacifica lineup is scheduled to arrive in dealerships this summer with a starting MSRP of $41,495 for the LX trim (excluding destination and fees). Pricing climbs through the Select and Limited trims to the range-topping Pinnacle model, which starts at $54,910 in front-wheel-drive form. All-wheel drive remains available on Select, Limited, and Pinnacle trims for buyers who want extra traction in challenging weather.

Continuing the Minivan Legacy

More than four decades after helping invent the modern minivan, Chrysler is continuing to refine the formula. With updated styling, smarter safety features, and more flexible technology packages, the 2027 Pacifica shows how the segment is evolving to meet the needs of modern families. By combining practicality with premium touches and innovative features, the refreshed Pacifica aims to maintain its status as one of the most versatile family vehicles on the road today.
