Toyota Clinches 14th NASCAR Truck Series Manufacturers’ Championship

Toyota has once again proven its dominance in NASCAR’s CRAFTSMAN Truck Series, securing its 14th Manufacturers’ Championship after another stellar season on the track. The milestone marks Toyota’s third title in the past five seasons and further extends its legacy as the most successful manufacturer in Truck Series history.

A Season of Strength and Consistency

Throughout the 2025 campaign, Toyota-backed teams and drivers delivered an impressive performance, collecting 13 race victories, 37 top-five finishes, and 58 top-10 results. In addition, Toyota drivers captured 25 stage wins, underscoring the brand’s consistent presence at the front of the field week after week.

“The 2025 NASCAR Truck Series season has been a historic one for Toyota, culminating with our 14th Manufacturers’ Championship,” said Paul Doleshal, general manager of sponsorships and motorsports for Toyota Motor North America. “We cannot thank our drivers, team partners and TRD personnel enough for their efforts and sacrifices in helping Toyota win this championship. It’s been a special year in the Truck Series, and we look forward to celebrating this tremendous feat.”

Corey Heim Leads a Record-Breaking Year

The standout star of Toyota’s 2025 Truck Series campaign has been Corey Heim, the TRICON Garage driver who authored one of the most dominant seasons in series history. Heim has tallied 11 wins so far—a single-season record—along with 21 stage victories and 65 Playoff points during the regular season. Those achievements earned him the 2025 Truck Series Regular Season Championship, and he’ll enter the season finale at Phoenix Raceway as a favorite for the overall series title.

Team Triumphs Across the Field

Toyota’s success extended beyond Heim. Stewart Friesen, driver and co-owner of Halmar-Friesen Racing, returned to victory lane for the first time since 2022 with a triumph at Michigan International Speedway in June. Rising star Gio Ruggiero earned his first career Truck Series victory at Talladega Superspeedway in October, showcasing Toyota’s continued commitment to developing young talent.

Meanwhile, Kaden Honeycutt, filling in for an injured Friesen, has impressed throughout the playoffs and will join Heim in the Championship 4 at Phoenix—his first shot at a Truck Series crown behind the wheel of the Halmar-Friesen Racing Toyota Tundra TRD Pro.

Building on a Legacy of Excellence

Since joining the Truck Series in 2004, Toyota has built an unparalleled record of success, amassing 247 victories and 188 poles across 518 races. The 2025 championship adds to Toyota’s impressive collection of titles, which include previous Manufacturers’ Championships in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2021, and 2022.

From its powerful TRD engines to its talented lineup of drivers and dedicated partner teams, Toyota’s sustained success in the NASCAR Truck Series underscores a winning formula built on performance, teamwork, and innovation.

As the Truck Series heads to Phoenix for the season finale, Toyota has already cemented its place in the record books—again proving why the Toyota Tundra TRD Pro remains the gold standard of excellence in NASCAR’s toughest racing series.
