Donating Over $40,000 to Our Community

Diehl Subaru of Massillon recently donated a total of $42,540 to two local organizations as part of the annual Subaru Share the Love event. With donations of $20,217 to Perry Helping Perry, a non-profit organization that provides assistance to families in need in the Perry Township area, and $22,323 to the Stark County Humane Society, an organization that provides care and shelter for animals in need.

The Subaru Share the Love event is an annual event held by Subaru of America, in which participating dealerships donate a portion of each sale to a charity of their choice. Since the program’s inception in 2008, Subaru has donated over $200 million to various charities through the Share the Love event.

Diehl Subaru of Massillon has been a long-time participant in the Share the Love event and has donated tens of thousands of dollars to local charities over the years. Diehl Subaru of Massillon’s General Manager, Dustin Shahan, expressed his pride in the dealership’s charitable efforts, stating, “We’re committed to giving back to our community, and the Share the Love event is a great way for us to do that.”

The donations to Perry Helping Perry and the Stark County Humane Society will go a long way in supporting these organizations’ efforts to help those in need. Perry Helping Perry provides food, clothing, and other essential items to families in the Perry Township area who are struggling financially, while the Stark County Humane Society provides care and shelter for animals in need and work to find permanent homes for them.

Overall, the annual Subaru Share the Love event provides an excellent opportunity for car dealerships to give back to their communities and support local charities. Diehl Subaru of Massillon’s donations to Perry Helping Perry and the Stark County Humane Society are just two examples of the many ways a car dealership can make a positive impact on the Massillon community.
